Get to know… Linda!

This lady from Limburg has been part of our team since the beginning of September. She is delighted to introduce herself.

‘I grew up on an agricultural company in Nederweert, Limburg. We keep dairy cows and broilers at two different locations. This is where my passion for the agricultural sector started.

After high school I chose to follow a secondary vocational education in Dairy Farming. After finishing this course, I continued my studies at the HAS University of Applied Sciences in Venlo. Last July I graduated cum laude for the course Business Management in Agriculture and Food. During my school period I gained a lot of knowledge and experience during internships in Kenya, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands. And well, what are you going to do next?

Working in the animal husbandry business, that is definitely something for me. Hans, my neighbor, heard that I was searching and contacted me. He asked if I was interested in joining the team at NIFA. I became enthusiastic and after joining the team for a couple of days I started as Sales Representative Imaging. Within my position I am responsible for the IMV-Imaging products and services.’

In her leisure time Linda can be found at her boyfriend’s dairy farm in Rutten (Flevoland), her parents’ farms (Nederweert and Maarheeze) and her aunt and uncle’s logistical company (Ysselsteyn). Furthermore, she likes to party and goes to various festivals with her friends.
