Registration open: 'Problem mares' Wetlabs course

On October 18–19, 2025, NIFA is proud to sponsor the Wetlabs in Zagreb, Croatia, focused on fertility issues in mares. Preparations are nearly complete, and registration is now open.

Registration open: 'Problem mares' Wetlabs course

This course is designed for veterinarians seeking to deepen their knowledge and practical skills in the diagnosis and treatment of equine fertility disorders. Topics include uterine flushing, swab collection, cytology and biopsy techniques, the use of video endoscopy, and the interpretation of microbiological and other diagnostic results. The course will be led by an international team of renowned experts:

  • Dr Christine Aurich (Austria)
  • Dr Nikica Babić (Croatia)
  • Dr Pat McCue (United States, Colorado State University)

The program features morning lectures followed by hands-on practical sessions in the afternoon. Veterinarians from across Europe are warmly invited to attend! Our colleague Corine Sikkema and IMV representative Daniele Zavattarelli will also be present.
