Facilities partner in the spotlight: De Zeeuw Cleaning Service
De Zeeuw Schoonmaakservice is the cleaning company run by Robbert de Zeeuw from Berltsum. After gaining many years’ experience in the sector, he set up his own business five years ago. The company operates mainly in North-West Friesland and carries out a wide range of cleaning services for businesses and private individuals.
Our partnership with NIFA has now been going for more than ten years. Robbert first came to NIFA through his previous employer to carry out glass and façade cleaning. When he set up his own business, he continued with this work and has since been responsible for, amongst other things, the weekly office cleaning.
What makes the job so enjoyable? The variety. From window cleaning and office maintenance to specialist cleaning tasks. One special tradition has become the annual cleaning of the lubricant production area – a unique task that comes round every year.
In addition to the weekly cleaning, De Zeeuw Schoonmaakservice carries out an annual deep clean of various parts of the premises. This includes scrubbing the floors and re-waxing them. According to Robbert, this remains one of the best moments: “The floors look as good as new again.”
