At NIFA we believe in people who want to build the future of reproduction technology. It is with pride that our new colleague Jeltje briefly introduces herself: someone who combines her roots in dairy farming with a fresh perspective on growth and cooperation in our logistics processes.

‘I grew up in Friesland on a dairy farm. So farm life is in my DNA. From a young age, I helped out on the farm at home, although I preferred working in the fields with the tractor. But reproduction in dairy farming is not foreign to me. I recently found out that my parents also have NIFA products in the cupboard at their farm’, says Jeltje enthusiastically.

‘After my HBO education International Business and Management Studies (IBMS), I started my career in procurement and export. There I discovered my ambition to grow into a managerial role. I now have that opportunity at NIFA. I'm really looking forward to room to develop, make an impact and work with various suppliers and partners. Here I can combine my practical background with my organisational skills. In addition, the range is a new world for me to grow into.’

Outside work, she likes to seek relaxation in nature. Surfing, hiking or a good film, as long as there is a balance between exertion and relaxation.
