At NIFA, we believe in people who want to help shape the future of reproduction technology. We are proud to introduce our new colleague, Jeltje: someone who combines her roots in dairy farming with an open mind on growth and collaboration within in our logistic processes.

‘I grew up on a dairy farm in Friesland. So, farming is in my DNA. From a young age, I helped out on the farm, although I mostly enjoyed being out in the fields on the tractor. However reproduction in the dairy industry is not unfamiliar to me. In fact, I recently discovered that my parents also have NIFA products on the shelf at their farm’, says Jeltje enthusiastically.

‘After my HBO education 'After completing my Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Management Studies (IBMS), I started my career in procurement and export. That is where I discovered my ambition to grow into a managerial role. I now have that opportunity at NIFA. I'm really looking forward to the opportunities to develop, make an impact and work with various suppliers and partners. Here, I can combine my practical background with my organisational skills. In addition, our product range is a new world for me to grow further into.’

Outside work, she likes to unwind in nature. Stand-up paddleboarding, walking or a good movie, as long as there is a balance between activity and relaxation.
